Arrival expected Thursday evening in Decontra, striking village in the council of Caramanico Terme and accomodation in farm holidays.

  

1st day: Breakfast and departure on foot directly from the accomodation, from Decontra to share 810 mt. one will rise up to about the 1890 meters of the Pomilio Mountain hut, just restructured by the Italian Alpine Club; in a memorable day visiting along the way the cave of San Giovanni, the more ascetic hermitage for his position and typology, and enjoying a single vision of the head of the Valley Of Orfento where the hermitage itself appears himself; overnight stay in mountain hut.

2nd day : Crossing from Mountain hut       (m.1892) to San Leonardo Pass (m.1282). The second day makes himself the crossing high path of the Maiella making the so-called one some maximum elevations of the massif one with thepossibility of enjoying the high plateaus and with a little luck touching some sighting a herd of Apennine Chamois (Rupicapra Pyrenaica Adorned), a second day dipped in the heart of the park which you will hard be able to forget the experienced emotion to have it, overnight stay in mountain hut, ( the alternative in good meteo condition is the spend the night to the bivouac on Mountain Bitters, maximum elevation of the massif at 2793 meters ).

3rd day: From San Leonardo Pass at San Pietro.
